This project is a from-scratch re-envisioning of the seminal 2000 role-playing game, originally titled Dragon Quest VII: Fragments of the Forgotten Past. In a notable departure from other series re-releases, such as the recently launched HD-2D versions, this version adopts a unique three-dimensional visual presentation. Environments have been crafted to evoke intricate dioramas, with party members having a delightful chibi-esque look.
